What's a Favicon?
A favicon is a icon you see on the tab when you surf the web.It is vital you must add one because your viewers will describe you as unprofessional so if you add one you will get recognised more from people interested in you which increases your traffic.The simplest to add one is to add HTML code under your tag.
The properties of a Favicon:
- The image format must be converted to ICO format.
- The size must 16 x 16
I recommend Adobe CS4 but if you are a beginner like me,I'd rather use Microsoft's Office Powerpoint 2007 because you can create without any designing experience needed.Although the quality is higher in Photoshop it delivers a good standard icon for your blog.
